“Horses & Bayonets”; A Most Beautiful Moment

The most beautiful moment of the 3rd presidential debate was when President Obama educated Mitt Romney about the modern US Navy. If you look close, you can watch Romney’s jaw steadily tighten and his lip grin stretch thinner and thinner throughout the President’s lecture. Overall, the takeaway of this scene is Mr. Romney’s misunderstanding that the US Navy is not a game of boys pushing their toy ships around a map of the world, it’s about the reality of the modern military, the men and women serving within in it and the global responsibilities one takes on as commander-in-chief?

The Armstrong Scandal & Willful Disbelief

I woke up this morning to NPR and yet another story about Lance Armstrong and the ever-unfolding doping scandal. The show’s guest was speaking about a book published a few years back by an Irish author whose claims of Lance’s doping fell on many a deaf ear which are now, in light of new evidence, basking in the glow of affirmation. Despite all the mounting and apparently irrefutable evidence there is still, in me at least, a semblance of incredulity.

Daily Scoop: Finally! GOP has Proof of Voter Fraud

After almost a year of swearing voter fraud was a huge problem plaguing the American system of democracy, proof has finally come to light. The evidence to validate all the GOP-led state legislatures anti-fraud laws is now out for all to see…. and it is slowly creeping up the rungs of Republican National Committee’s ladder. Republicans finally have thier proof and it is rooted squarely in their own organizations.
